General Questions
Common questions about sacrificial donations
Qurban is considered obligatory upon every Muslim who can afford it. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Whoever can afford it, but does not offer a sacrifice, let him not come near our prayer place" (Ibn Majah).
No. You may delegate it to an individual or organisation to sacrifice your Qurban on your behalf. We handle the entire process from sacrifice to distribution.
Each household must commit at least ONE Qurban, which will be sacrificed on the day of Eid al-Adha. The head of the family may offer the sacrifice on behalf of other members in the house. Despite one Qurban being sufficient to fulfil the obligation, there is no limit to how many should be sacrificed.
Although it is best to do so as soon as possible, your Qurban should be fulfilled by the last day of Eid al-Adha, as the sacrifices must take place during those days. We process Qurban donations for the entire 4 days of Eid, allowing you the chance to fulfil it on time.
Qurban animals are sheep, goats, cows or camels.
Qurban is the annual sacrifice performed during Eid Al-Adha. Aqeeqa is a sacrifice for a newborn child. Nadir (Nadr) is a sacrifice pledged as a vow to Allah. Sadaqa is a voluntary charitable sacrifice that can be performed at any time.
Distribution & Delivery
How your donation reaches those in need
In many locations, livestock is sacrificed within the destination country, allowing beneficiaries to receive fresh meat during Eid al-Adha. In other locations where on-site sacrifice is not feasible, the Qurban is performed in Australia or other countries. The meat is then processed and distributed either canned or frozen.
Canned Qurban is pre-cooked meat, prepared and ready for immediate consumption. It has a long shelf life which is strategic for regions where resources are limited and refrigeration is not possible, such as refugee camps.
Animals are cut into 6 pieces and individually wrapped. Each Qurban is then shipped in a separate carton to its intended destination via refrigerated containers.
Yes, in select countries like Lebanon and Jordan. Please contact us to provide the beneficiary's details such as name, number, city, and suburb.
Within 7-10 days after distribution, you will receive a personalised impact report via email with photos, location details, and a certificate of completion.
